Customer Story: On-Site Measurement Services

This multi-story tech center housed contemporary luxury offices and popular restaurants. Their existing paddle wheel type meters, which measured the energy usage for each tenant, had high failure rates. Low flow measurement was also a major problem because the existing meters were not picking up the tenants' usage. In addition, one of the brands could not be calibrated and the other did not offer on-site service.

Control Associates' Measurement Solutions experts calibrated all the energy meters on-site utilizing a Flexim FLUXUS® F601 Portable Multi-Functional Flow Meter as the reference. The FLUXUS has become the industry standard for temporary heating and cooling thermal energy measurements for all types of BTU meters, with Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) matched to .03 F degrees.
